We are fully licensed to host civil wedding ceremonies either inside our warm and welcoming tearoom or outside in the peaceful garden setting. Our wooden building, surrounded by green fields and gentle rolling views, creates an atmosphere of rustic elegance – ideal for couples looking for a relaxed yet refined countryside wedding.
Wedding Receptions Tailored to You
From afternoon celebrations to full evening receptions, Buttercups Tearoom can accommodate up to 180 seated guests indoors – and up to 400 with a marquee in the garden. You’ll have the freedom to personalise the day your way. Use our wooden tables and chairs, or bring your own. Add your own flowers, table décor or signage to create a celebration that feels truly yours.
Room for Dancing, Music and More
Our venue includes plenty of space for live music or a band area, giving your guests room to dance and celebrate into the evening. The natural surroundings and warm, wooden interiors provide a magical atmosphere as the sun goes down over the fields.
Bar Service and Catering
We offer an optional bar service for your guests, while giving you the freedom to choose your own catering supplier. We’re happy to recommend trusted local caterers who know the space and have delighted many couples before. Whether you’re planning a sit-down meal, a relaxed buffet, or a full afternoon tea, the choice is yours.
